Strengthening of Analytical Capacities and Policy Formulation for a Green Transformation in Indonesia

In collaboration with CORE Indonesia and commissioned by GIZ, GWS is implementing a project aimed at strengthening Indonesia’s institutional foundations for a green economic transformation. The project focuses on improving analytical tools, building capacity within Bappenas and other key stakeholders, and developing inclusive, evidence-based policy scenarios with particular attention to gender and regional disparities. It supports planning and monitoring at both national and subnational levels, helping to align Indonesia’s development strategy with environmental sustainability and social equity goals on its path to becoming a high-income country by 2045.
