Vita
Frank Hohmann studied Business Administration at the University of Osnabrück, focusing on Business Informatics and Production Management, and graduated as Diplom-Kaufmann in 1994. He then worked as a research associate at the Chair of Information Systems at the University of Osnabrück.
Since 1999, he has been working for GWS mbH, where he is responsible for the areas of software development and technology. He has been a partner at GWS mbH since 2001. His work includes the development of model systems, graphical user interfaces, and communication platforms, as well as data management techniques. In addition, he works as a consultant for partner organizations in Europe, Asia, and Africa on macroeconomic models.
Another important part of his work is providing sustainable training in the development and application of Excel-based E3 models using the DIOM-X (Dynamic Input-Output Models in Excel) model-building framework, particularly in Asian and African countries, carried out in cooperation with organizations such as GIZ, ILO, and IRENA.
