Vita

Dr. Louisa Grimm studied Economics (B.Sc.) and Economics (M.Sc.) at the University of Osnabrück and gained further experience at the Université Laval in Québec. In her doctorate in International Economic Policy at the University of Osnabrück, she focussed on the analysis of optimal currency areas, business cycles and foreign exchange trading and graduated summa cum laude.

Ms. Grimm has been working at GWS in the “Economic and Social Affairs” department since June 2023. Her areas of expertise include empirical analysis of industries and economic (econometric and input-output) model-based research. In addition, she has experience in applying Excel-based E3 and GJAM models with the DIOM-X (Dynamic Input Output Models in Excel) modeling framework to labor market and climate change related topics such as adaptation and mitigation.
