The Institute of Economic Structures Research (GWS) is a private, independent economic research and business and policy consultancy organisation. Its goal is to provide objective, impartial, factual consultancy to aid social transformation and development processes.
GWS’ strengths are in documentation and analysis of these processes, with the aim of producing policy recommendations for political, business and social decision-makers. Our core activity is the development and application of data systems and empirical economic models which transparently model economic interdependencies at a range of scales.
The GWS product portfolio ranges from models for end clients to data systems to model-based analysis, results from which are included in client and public reports, short studies, academic publications and presentations. We place great emphasis on ensuring that results are up-to-date, consistent and comprehensive and thus offer clients a comprehensible and operationalisable decision-making aid.
