Discussion paper published on the theory and methodology of counterfactual scenario building
Back to the future – the new publication in the GWS Discussion Paper series discusses the theory and methodology for creating counterfactual scenarios and applies it to a macroeconometric structural model. As part of the BMBF-funded project "Development of sustainable strategies in the Chilean mining sector through a regionalized national model" (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) FKZ: 01DN16030), the macroeconometric model COFORCE was developed, which was also used for the creation of ex-post scenarios.
