Expert discussion on energy transition and structural changes in regions

The energy transition is occurring in Germany's regions from different starting points and is embedded in specific structural change. Philip Ulrich has been working for some time on the question of what regional economic effects the energy transition has in the regions. An article in the publication series "Information on Spatial Development" summarises the state of knowledge. On June 29, there will be an online expert discussion on the thematic issue "Energiewende und Strukturwandel - Politische Ziele regional verankern" (Energy transition and structural change - anchoring political goals regionally), in which the expert public will discuss the associated future issues for the regions.
