Vita

Lara Ahmann graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Cultural and Economic Sciences from the University of Halle-Wittenberg and obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Systems and Resource Management at the University of Osnabrück. In October 2017, she joined GWS as a research associate. Her research activities at GWS cover thematic areas of the departments Energy and Climate as well as Global Developments and Resources.

Due to her expertise in the application of the models PANTA RHEI and GINFORS-E for numerical parameterisations of ex-ante simulations, she is ideally suited for assessing socio-economic transformation scenarios in interdisciplinary research collaborations. With her systems science expertise, she has already been involved in monitoring the bioeconomy, as well as macroeconomic impact assessments of efficiency measures, and studies on the effects of adaptation to climate change.
